A consortial meeting of the project DigiLab4U took place at University of Parma on 23-24 of January 2020.
The main goal was to set up the teams to enhance the implementation of components of the architecture, with the aim to better define how the network architecture will be practically implemented, and what new modules it will be composed of.
The meeting itself was mainly focused on technical aspects of the project, however the didactical topics also took a significant part. Indeed:
- IWM presented the results of the Work Package about teaching methodology evaluation, and development of an integrated overall concept and requirements for the hybrid laboratory-based teaching-learning and research environment;
- first sketches of Learning Analytics were presented by RWTH;
- a cooperation game was introduced and evaluated by partners from BIBA and HFT.
As for technical implementation of new approach of dealing with Work Packages was agreed on and vision of newly made format of interaction between partners from different groups was observed and disscused. Partners from Parma held a tour of RFID lab with an introduction of future lab scenarios.
Another important milestone at the meeting was the very first use of a RFID chamber remotely. Partners from HFT introduced their first results of running a remote experiment, using a very beta version of their Laboratory Management System (LabMS).
The meeting was useful and conducive for creating of new learning enviroment. We concluded the meeting with a strengthened vision of our project.
